Serving Cartersville and Surrounding Communities since 1980, our mission at Bartow Animal Hospital is to help your pets live happier, healthier lives by providing exceptional quality medical and surgical care in a compassionate environment. 

What began as a vision for modern, state-of-the-art veterinary care has grown into a full-service veterinary hospital, boarding facility, and doggie day camp, serving Cartersville and surrounding areas. 

Throughout our growth, we’ve remained committed to ensuring pets and their families receive individual attention and customized treatment plans in a comfortable, caring environment.

Dr. Jake Tripp

Dr. Jake Tripp

Veterinarian

Dr. Jake Tripp is the son of Bartow Animal Hospital founder, Dr. Andrew Tripp. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Tripp married his college sweetheart, Lauren, and together they have two beautiful girls, Collins and Anna Hayes. Their chocolate Labrador, Miller, can often be spotted at work with Dr. Tripp.

Dr. Andrew Tripp

Dr. Andrew Tripp

Veterinarian

Dr. Andrew Tripp graduated from veterinary school at the University of Georgia. He is married to Chris Tripp, and they have three adult children and eight grandchildren. Their son, Dr. Jake Tripp, joined the Bartow Animal Hospital veterinary team in 2013, and they enjoy working with each other and learning from each other.

In his free time, Dr. Tripp enjoys scuba diving, fishing and spoiling his grandchildren.

Dr. Carl White

Dr. Carl White

Veterinarian

Dr. Carl White is a graduate of Auburn University College of Agriculture as well as Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association (GVMA).

Dr. White has a special fondness for Yorkies.

Dr. Tyler Brookshire

Dr. Tyler Brookshire

Veterinarian

Born and raised in Cartersville, Georgia, Dr. Tyler Brookshire discovered a passion for veterinary medicine at a young age. This passion led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in biology at Kennesaw State University and then graduating from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine.

With a deep-rooted passion for animal care and a diverse range of interests, Dr. Brookshire embodies a commitment to veterinary excellence and enriching the lives of both pets and their owners. Throughout his academic career, he developed a keen interest in surgery, radiology, and ultrasounds, areas that continue to drive his professional aspirations.

Outside of veterinary practice, Dr. Brookshire finds joy in family life with his spouse and two sons. Their household is further enriched by the companionship of a standard poodle named Coco, an orange domestic shorthair named Donkey, a bearded dragon, and two turtles. In his leisure time, Dr. Brookshire enjoys pursuing outdoor activities such as golfing, fishing, and hunting.
